What is Cubbon Run?

Cubbon Run is a free 5 kilometres race that takes place every Sunday at Cubbon Park. It's a community event for people of all ages and running abilities to come together to run, walk, or jog 5 kilometres.

Who organises Cubbon Run, and is there a fee to participate?

Cubbon Run is organised by volunteers and is completely free. The organisers do not profit from this initiative; it is run by the community, for the community, and is of the community.

Can I participate in Cubbon Run as a walker or jogger?

Absolutely! Cubbon Run welcomes participants of all abilities, whether you're a runner, walker, or jogger. It's all about having fun and being active.

Is pre-registration required to participate in Cubbon Run?

Click here to register for the run. Pre-registration is not required, but it's encouraged to help with event planning. On-site registration is also available.

When and where does Cubbon Run take place?

Cubbon Run happens every Sunday morning at Cubbon Park, Bengaluru. Please check the route map ahead of the run to familiarise yourself. To reach the meeting point, enter Cubbon Park through the red entrance arch located near Dr. BR Ambedkar Station (Vidhana Soudha) on the High Court side.

How can I get involved as a volunteer for Cubbon Run?

What role do volunteers play during Cubbon Run?

Volunteers typically do one of the following: guiding racers at key intersections, timekeeping, photographing the race event and being a general enthu-cutlet. Here are all our volunteers who have helped us so far.

How are participants' run times recorded?

All participants are registered, and their run times are recorded by volunteers.

Where can I view my run timings and see the leaderboard?

You can check your run timings and view the leaderboard on the dedicated results page.

Do participating runners receive any rewards?

No, participating runners do not receive any reward. However, the first three runners who complete the race are felicitated with marker disks, our version of a rolling trophy, which is now a tradition and is also sustainable.

What should I do if I have an illness or I am on medication?

If you are suffering from any illness or are on medication, we advise you to prioritise your health and well-being. It is recommended that you rest and avoid participating in the run. However, if you still wish to join Cubbon Run, please carry along your necessary medical supplies in case of an emergency. Your health and safety are important to us.
